Georgia EPD - Laurel View River Study Plan and Results

A field study of the Laurel View River was conducted to verify the steady state Georgia Estuary model (GA EST) that was developed for the determination of the Liberty County Development Authority wasteload allocation. A reconnaissance was conducted in August 2009 to collect preliminary data about the system including tidal extent and channel bathymetry. In September 2009, a detailed field study was conducted to collect water sample and water quality measurements. The findings from the field study are summarized in the memo and slide presentation below.
